Take one cool London couple, mix in one of London’s best restaurants, add their guests, and the day was set for an incredibly fun city wedding. We worked with our couple in the year leading up to their wedding to plan in full and style their big day. From finding the best fit suppliers, to developing their gracefully graphic wedding design, we man-marked each and every aspect to create the wedding they envisaged – complete with Hip Hop pianist and custom made confetti cannons!
Feasting and fun were at the front of minds for this contemporary and cool city wedding. Following a beautiful service with one of London’s leading Gospel choirs, guests and the couple then made their way by Red Bus to the reception venue. The couple wanted the wedding to feel effortlessly stylish and uncontrived, discerning in it’s design cues, but with a modern sense of luxury rather than ostentation.
For the drinks reception a Hip Hop pianist played in the inviting lounge area, with a Jazz Band then picking up the sound scape as dinner was called. Guests loved the interactive and fun table plan – charged champagne flutes, with guest names and table numbers written on, making a great guest keep-sake.
We devised the event design and over-saw all aspects relating to the Creative, to create the relaxed and stylish setting wanted. The table design featured Knot & Pop candlesticks, rose quartz crystals (the crystal of unconditional love), custom made pinch pots and menu clipboards, mixed metallic cutlery, with beautiful flowers and autumnal fruits nestled in. Come evening, we transformed the basement bar into the party pad with Knot & Pop custom built DJ booth and backdrop, and a ceiling’s full of marble balloons. The night was full of confetti, incredible tunes from a reputable Berlin based DJ, His and Her cocktails and all the fun of the Photobooth.
