Bringing a taste of the tropics to Norfolk, this couple appointed Knot & Pop to curate their wedding theme, style and consult through their wedding planning.
Reflecting their Guyanese and Bajun heritage the couple came to Knot & Pop with the tropics in mind, and a venue to be found.
Having found the venue for them, we then developed the theme and scheme, teasing out ideas for the invitations, table plan, tablescape, aisle style and more.
From initial concepts through to supplier recommendations, briefings, sourcing and styling on the day, Knot & Pop brought the Taste of the Tropics to life for this gorgeous couple.
With palm tree prints set against a palette of powder pink and luscious greens, a beautiful contrast was created against the very English countryside setting – fusing and reflecting their backgrounds.
Leafy greens mixed with powder pink, with a touch of coral and golds as highlight colours.
From the tropical flower arrangements that saw a statement floral arch act as the backdrop to the ceremony, to the escort card installation that formed a secondary tropical arch that guests walked through to take them to dinner, each and every element and detail was considered to enhance the setting and experience for the couple and guests.
The clear-side marquee, nestled in amongst the trees, was transformed into a tropical oasis with a leafy green pergola constructed over the central dining table that formed the top table. dine under. Guest tables then formed around the top table, with an open view across the water, bringing the outside in.
Knot & Pop curated and concepted all elements of table-top stylings. Bespoke table runners were placed across tables, with custom made seat pad covers also tying into the couple’s hero stationery design. White candle blocks were commissioned with taper candles dipped in coral peach paint, and dressed within. Tropical flowers lined the tables, with leaves placed table length, and rattan mats adding that further touch of the tropics.
Moving through to the evening a bar served signature tropical cocktails with the dance-floor rooms then lit in tropical leaf print projections, with all the fun of the themed photo booth, complete with banana leaf backdrop and themed props, running into the small hours.
