Knot & Pop was commissioned by Wedgwood to produce a series of images to promote the Vera Wang X Wedgwood crockery collaboration. Selecting two ranges within the collection, we created two distinctive looks that showcased a Romanticist design and an Individualist design. We designed and produced all aspects relating to the shoot – building a talented team around us to realise the vision. The images were used by the brands to seed across Social Media and Blog.
For Romanticist we centred on a light and delicate palette, keeping materials soft and clear to add to the sense of lightness. Perspex clear chairs, mixed with glass taper candle holders and alabaster votives for those delicate touches, whilst flowers by Frida Kim brought beautiful soft textures to the table design.
For Individualist, we created a moody and sumptuous palette, with hand-made painted napkins blending with the gradient effect of the plateware. Cut glass and antique silver were the perfect partners for the tableware collection, with a grand but contemporary feel to the tablescape design. With Romanticist, we opted for a clean backdrop, whilst with Individualist we created a textural look complete with textured wall and painterly wallpaper.
