Malene Oddershede Bach Spring Summer 2019 collection was inspired by the science fiction film ‘Annihilation’ – a surreal, and beautifully dark story that sees a mysterious Shimmer appear to reveal unnatural and other-worldly happenings. A designer that focuses on texture and print, the collection fused pastel perfection, with edgier looks celebrating the Icelandic Poppy, on black plastic raincoats and accessories. The collection was launched at London Fashion Week, marking Malene’s debut on schedule show.

For the Welcome Supper of Litha 2018, we wanted to focus the concept on the power of the single stem with a pressed flower table runner and commissioned tableware with press flower imprints by Paige Mitchell. To best suit the reclaimed nature of the space, flowers were dressed within reclaimation yard finds with pressed flower pillar candles bringing further texture.
For the second evening of Litha 2018, we gathered guests in the atrium area for dining to celebrate their arrangements made, with their flowers dressed along the tablescape. Taking inspiration from the tones in the room, we opted for a striking rich red as the base palette. All students worked within the palette set for the dinner, for a beautiful cohesive design to form.
Celebrating Mid Summer and the final evening of Litha 2018, the floristry workshop hosted by Jo Flowers and Hart Floral, Knot & Pop created a fitting send off for all of the guests. Dining outdoors, the final supper took place with Bylaugh Hall as the backdrop.
Our couple celebrated their wedding in between Christmas and New Year, at a gorgeous Castle venue in Scotland. With the venue booked in July, we had five months to plan and deliver their dream day. We worked with them to find their dream team of suppliers, and devised their event design to style their day to perfection. Focussing on a modern interpretation of the classic White Winter Wedding, the event design was contemporary, chic and luxurious in tone – with snowfall as the ideal finishing touch. And with such a fun couple, we made sure there were twists and surprises throughout the day!
Jess and Luke celebrated their day in Normandy, with 40 of their closest friends and family.
A destination wedding with the couple and guests travelling mainly from America, the chateau venue was the perfect setting for a wonderful long wedding weekend at an exclusive homestay that perfectly mirrored the intimate and personal occasion the couple wanted.
We worked with the couple in the two months leading up to their wedding to assist with styling and over-see the set up and day itself. A hugely talented bride, who poured her heart and soul into her wedding, we supported her to ensure their day was brought to life as imagined. Sourcing the styling and tablescape items, we suggested and then brought over the items to style the day that matched the vision.
We worked with this infectious couple to style their magical French Chateau wedding in France. Having unlocked their stories, we developed an event design that mixed their modern sensibility with fun touches, whilst remaining sensitive to the venue and surrounds.
A chateau with quintessential French blue shutters, we drew on this colour to form a key part of the palette, adding warm peach tones, pale pinks and dove grey. The chateau ticked all dream venue wishes, with walled garden, orangery, orchard and flower meadow in full bloom. A vast ground, we devised the best flow for the day, and transformed each of those spaces. From empty Orangery, to immersive space. From open lawn to outdoor lounge. From vast hall, to inviting supper club. We styled and brought imaginative touches to create a wow wedding day for the couple and all their guests.
Following on from their wedding on the Saturday, the celebrations continued into Sunday with the Wedding Melse. With the couple sharing their Melse colours, we expanded from there to create a modern and stylish celebration, full of fun.
With guests dressed all in white, the party continued through the Sunday with endless dancing and a lot of laughs. It’s not often we can hit the dance-floor, but team K&P, along with guests, were seen waving leaves around and having the time of their lives.
We love when a couple really dares to do things differently and Nellie and Andrew from the get go wanted to go against the grain to have a really imaginative and memorable day.
We worked across all aspects of their wedding day – from venue, to transport, supplier management and the ultimate theme and scheme designs and creation.
With them wanting to focus on foliage, rather than having things too overtly floral, we centred the concept on Jungle, combined with their love of Jazz the design fused together to form a Jazz In The Jungle wedding…and what a wedding…
Bringing a taste of the tropics to Norfolk, this couple appointed Knot & Pop to curate their wedding theme, style and consult through their wedding planning.
Reflecting their Guyanese and Bajun heritage the couple came to Knot & Pop with the tropics in mind, and a venue to be found.
Having found the venue for them, we then developed the theme and scheme, teasing out ideas for the invitations, table plan, tablescape, aisle style and more.
From initial concepts through to supplier recommendations, briefings, sourcing and styling on the day, Knot & Pop brought the Taste of the Tropics to life for this gorgeous couple.
